You Knew It Was Coming-Adoption
2 questions:
If you found out you couldn't have kids biologically-would you adopt?
Also, are you or any of your siblings adopted?
I know this may be a very personal topic, so of course if you don't want to answer I will not be offended.
BTW-My brother is adopted. Yes, I would adopt and I may one day. DH is not that hot on the idea though.

Yes, DH and I would definitely adopt!
Sometimes I think about adopting even if I do have biological kids... we'll see..
ETA: No neither me or my sister were adopted, although we tell my sister she was cause she's blond and everyone else has dark hair! LOLOLOL

Yes, we spoke about this before we even got married. If we can not have biological kids, we will definitely adopt.

We talked about what lengths we would go to have children if we were dealing with IF before getting married. DH said that he probably wouldn't adopt. I'm not sure if I would want to or not. If I did I would have a hard time with it because I'd want to go domestically & I think adoption is far different than decades ago.
None of my siblings are adopted. I have several friends that are adopted & a few that have adopted.

yes, i absolutely would adopt (i would probably adopt instead of InVitro or anything like that)
i'm pregnant now, but DH and i are seriously considering having 2 to 3 biological children and then adopting from china.
I'm adopted and so are 2 out of my 4 sisters.

personally i would not adopt but i think pple/couples that due are truly amazing--for me personally i just dont think i would..and no im not adopted

my best friend was adopted when she was young and so was her sister. we still make fun of her cause she was renamed a religious jewish name that no one can pronounce. in fact...i am going to call her now and make fun of her.

I am 100% for adopting, but DH is not on board and he has his reasons-If we could not biologically have children we would adopt at that time.

I definitely would adopt. I always imagined myself with an asian girl baby. Don't know why.

It's funny- DH and I were talking about this the other day. I just gave birth to a baby girl in April. I have thought about adopting our next child.
I had a friend in college who was the first born. Then her parents adopted a child from Vietnam (this was in the 70's) and then they had another biological child.
Now I completely understand that. Being a mom, the thought of a child out there not being loved just breaks my heart. We are so far away from thinking about the next one, but I definitely have thought about adopting.

Yes, I would adopt if I couldn't have a child biologically, but I probably would explore every option on that end first.
My mom just recently adopted a baby with her husband (see avatar), so yes, my sister is adopted.
