Some people are just DUMB.
Yesterday, on my way into work (it was about 90 degrees, right?), I parked next to an older SUV with the windows opened an inch or so.
As soon as I got out of the car, I heard this sad little crying! I peeked into the SUV, and sure enough, a little King Charles Cavalier puppy was laying on the seat, panting, and CRYING!!! He had the saddest little eyes.
I walked into the office (it's an upstairs/downstairs deal - my office= downstairs, back of the bldg, and a CPA and an attorney are in the front), and called both of the upstairs offices - NO one claimed to know who the SUV/dog belonged to.
After another 5-10 minutes, a co-worker and I decided to break into the SUV  . We slid the wire hanger from my dry cleaning into the door and popped the lock. Left a post-it for the a$$ that the dog was in our office.
OMG, that poor puppy was sooooo overheated. We brought him into the a/c, and got him some water- He gulped it down so fast!!!
About 20 minutes later, the ATTORNEY'S GIRLFRIEND (not his wife) came to claim her dog. She was actually going to leave him in the car the whole time! In 90 DEGREE WEATHER!
My co-worker told her she was a selfish beyotch with no regard for the life of her pet, and that if we saw the dog in her car again, we're calling the town!
Honestly, did she think the little guy was going to be OK in the car for 30+ minutes, while she "met with" the attorney?
I wanted to keep him!!!

I don't think so at all - the more I think about it, I wish we would've called the town animal division. She doesn't deserve that puppy!

Are you kidding me? Some people are so STUPID. Did she not hear all the warnings of hot weather. Way too hot for people to be out in the heat, why would it be ok for that poor little puppy!

I agree!!
An animal should never be left in a vehicle under any conditions... but when its THIS hot outside? OMG its a miracle that you came along when you did, or else I'd hate to think of what would have happened to puppy
