For those of you helping Janet...some ideas besides food!
You guys are AMAZING and if I was still in NY, I'd come help!
But, we know she has a house and a daughter....what OTHER things can she use besides food. I'm sure she only has a certain amount of space to store it all.
What about:
dried/canned goods
toiletries
gift cards to restaurants or clothing stores for her daughter
gas cards
At your GTG you can always plan a rotating schedule for meal drop offs at her home so it's a constant and she would nont have to worry about storage space.

such a great idea. I wonder if Ron can get a in the middle location for us to drop off items. Like on a sunday, even if its in a park or super market parking lot, just somewhere in the middle so everyone can make it without driving too far. Or mail the items, whichever is easier.
