Peabody hosted one with Jacqueline before! It was a lot of fun and she gave us all great tips (and we all bought some of her makeup too!). There were about 10 of us I think, and she gave us all makeovers telling us the best colors and products for us. It was helpful.
Anyone wanna host another one? Like I said - I would if I had the room!! Beth - can you FM more details - price/etc.
I'll post here in case anyone else is interested--for the one Tara had I believe it was free because we all bought some of her makeup products. I dont know if it was officially a "makeover" party, but she spent about 10-15 mins with each of us applying makeup and telling us what looked best. Most of us spent $20 or more on makeup products from her. I also have a tiny one bedroom, but would offer if I had more room!
Can you giveme more information on makeup parties? I will host one possiblly

OMG, Jaqueline Nicole is amazing! My best friend recently got married, and she used her, along with the rest of us in the bridal party. She is SO sweet and does a FABULOUS job!

I would love to do something like this too.
I think I am OK at applying makeup- I actually did my friend's makeup for her wedding. But I think it would just be a fun night so I'd definately be interested.

She does do an amazing job AND is an absolute sweetheart! We should have her do a make-up party one night!!!

I am terrible with eye liner. I've tried different types and techniques and no matter what it just never looks good.
My normal make up for work is just a little blush, some lipstick and mascara

Ever since I started using Bare Minerals, I feel more confident in makeup application. I've always wanted to learn how to make my eyes more dramatic with blending eye shadows and giving myself the smokey eye look.

I posted a few months back about wanting to do a party like this. I am SO terrible at applying my makeup. I feel like a 16 yr. old goth I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to get in on it if anyone is having a party. My apartment WAS big enough, but now we have all this baby crap in the way.

Bare Escentuals, I think, is the same thing...she calls it bare minerals as well. You can get it Sephora, Ulta or the Bare Escentuals store in Roosevelt Field.

I've been using Bare Minerals for 5 years now. It's fabulous!!!! They have gorgeous eyeshadows too!! Highly rec it!

I have been using Bare Escentials for about 4 years. My MIL got me hooked on it and it is so easy. I do my make pretty good but I would love to learn more. The only thing about Bare Escentials that I dont like is that for my skin after maybe an hour or 2 my faces tends to look a little shinny and I have the mineral veil but I dont like the way it makes my skin look. I also dont like the bare minerals eye shadows because they are a look powder not pressed and it is so messy in my opinion. I would buy it from QVC because if you dont like the product you can return it and get your money back and I am not sure the stores will allow you to do that.

I stink at hair, makeup, fashion and all things girly.  Therefore I use bare essentials with the bare minimum when I do wear makeup. My hair style is nearly unchanged in 6 years. My clothes are primarily solid colors that pretty much match.
