i ran this morning for 30 mintues!!! i don't know how far it is because it was inside of my complex, but I weaved in and out to make it longer!
i feel so much better now!
i just went back to read the posts, peabody congrats on your 5K!! That's a great accomplishment! I never thought of building up to run in one. It's a good way to keep you on track!!

I ran 5 miles this morning in 40 minutes...I used to be so slow, but now I am up to an 8 minute mile!!
Everyone's posts really motivate me....congrats everyone on working so hard to stay fit

I would love to too....but I am starting really slow so not to get burnt out and injured again. I have a bad habit of overdoing it. So I am only at 3 miles.

I did the Elliptical Rider for about 45 minutes on Saturday, Oct 22.
I ran 4.35 miles this morning, Monday Oct 24.

I ran Sunday and Monday both 5 miles. I couldn't keep my fast pace so ran in about 42-43 minutes.
I am kind of sore today for some reason, may do the elliptical instead for 45 minutes.

I ran 2.5 and biked 5.5 today. My gym has the heat up I am finding it difficult to run without my asthma flaring up.

I did 6 miles on the elliptical machine with the tension at 6. It was a good workout but nothing is the same as running..IMO.

I totally agree, I do the Elliptical Rider when I want to work out but I know I am really tired. I never feel the same way on the Elliptical Rider as when I run a couple of miles.
Does it take you a while to cool down after running?

I was exhuasted today (only got 3 hrs of sleep), but I made myself go to the gym anyway. I only managed 2 miles on the treadmill then I went to the bike. I just didn't have it in me today!!

3 miles on the treadmill this morning.
Next week I plan to up it to 3.5 miles (I need to start giving my self more time inorder to do so. (I am a slow runner)
