I am liking the full-bodied dresses. Hardly any overly tight dresses - barely there dresses this year.
This oscar's had the look of 'old hollywood' and the women were all curvacious and beautiful!

I agree....The only two who I think look really stunning are Jennifer Garner and Nicole Kidman. 
Reese Witherspoon looks nice, if not a bit matronly...
Wish I coudl've seen it

Jennifer Aniston-A little dissapointing (I am so over the straight hair look on her. Put it up once in a while)

I was NOT impressed with what anyone had on, and I also didn't think anyone seemed excited or enthused about being there. JT and I were like, HELLO! HAlF of you were in teeny bopper movies just a few years ago, show a little appreciation for where you are now!

It looked more orange on my tv & I thought it looked great, but she iss to blonfd for that much yellow & it clashes with the red lipstick a litle, but I still love the dress.

I was thinking the same thing - especially about Michelle Williams - HELLO a few years ago you were kissing Dawson!!!!
Uma Thurmans body looks like you can turn her head backwards and she would look the same.
I think Nicole Kidman looked the best!

Oh, I think she looks really awkward. Maybe it's just the picture. But it looks like she overcompensated by losing too much weight post-baby. I just get the impression she's trying to hard to fit into Hollywood....

Such a total lack of excitment on the part of ALL these actors this year...
And each and every dress and 'look' was just so 'blah' IMO

I thought Reese's dress was gorgeous...she said she found it in a vintage store in Paris...it was an old Dior. Some people helped her restore it.
My DH couldn't stop commenting about Jennifer Garner's and Selma Hyack's boobs...

I was watching the preshow with my step-daughter (she's 9). And she says...don't any of the girls wear bras with their dresses

Jessica Alba looked weird I thought - she looked like she had linebacker shoulders and she needs to cover up that five-head with bangs or something!
