Do you feel attractive while being pregnant?

I know many women love how they look pregnant and are anxious to show off those bellies, but I've only met a couple who hated the physical changes and felt totally unattractive.

Just curious to how some of you girls feel.

Most of the time I think I'm looking ok but you wont catch me flashing a bare belly in public!

I voted "most days". How I'm feeling that day definitely plays a part. The more uncomfortable I am, the less attractive I feel.

I think my DH has had a lot to do with me feeling attractive also - he's been incredibly supportive and complimentary about by changing shape. He was even lamenting yesterday that the belly would be gone soon (I told him he could grow one if he'll miss it so much).

I usually feel pretty good about my body, but since I haven't gained that much weight yet (I'm almost 16 weeks) I sometimes get frustrated when trying to dress nice because not too much fits anymore and I feel like I'm not big enough for too much maternity stuff yet.

I felt unattractive most days.. esp at the end.

I definately feel sexy and attractive. I've been really treating myself to nice clothes, shoes, manicures, pedicures....just spoiling myself. Even the large weight gain (40 lbs and I'm only 28 weeks!), I feel really attractive and have the glowing feeling.

It's funny, I never would've thought that I'd embrace pregnancy this much, but I'm loving everything about it, including how I look. I think I feel attractive because I just feel great and am in a truly great place in my life.

I NEVER EVER feel attractive. It doesn't help that people keep telling me, "Oh yeah, you're definitely having a girl. She stole your beauty." Nothing like being mean to the sensitive prego.

I wouldn't say I feel attractive, but I feel good about myself and my huge belly. And believe me, its HUGE now! I dress comfy, for the most part that's sweatpants now, but even at 38 weeks and exhausted from chasing a 2 year old, I still feel good and love being pregnant.

i feel pretty most of the time. I'm controlling the things that I can. I am wearing nice clothes, do my nails, wear makeup and get my hair done. I'm not really feeling like I look sexy hough. But my DH says that I do all of the time which really helps.

I feel so unattractive AFTER my pregnancy. I think I looked beautiful during my pregnancy.

I hated how I looked while pregnant. I've always had issues with weight - so looking down at my tree trunk legs & my breasts that were resting on my big belly was very tough for me. I know it was more in my head than anything else - I did have someone try to pick me up while I was in my car. I laughed & when I got out - he fell all over himself apologizing. I really wish I enjoyed it more...

I loved being pregnant, i always felt so full of energy and that definitely showed.

Now that I'm at the end, I don't feel attractive at all....everyone says "You look great" but there's something about waddling and cankles that just doesn't work for me

I feel attractive most days. However, now that I am near the end I am so uncomfortable that it is hard to feel attractive. I do my hair, make up, wear perfume and try to put on something that makes me feel attractive everyday.

I don't know why either; so many people (even strangers) have said to me, "Oh, you look so cute!". I've gotten more compliments while pregnant than when not. DH loves the way I look also.

I'm just not comfortable with my body being different. I was extremely self-conscious as a teen, going through all the "womanly" changes, and I feel the same way now as I did then. It's silly, I know, because I think it's so amazing that I'm growing another life inside of me. I wish I didn't feel embarrassed at the way that I look

I felt beautiful for the first time in my life I've always had a distorted body image and pregancy helped me break out of it. I tried to stay in nice maternity clothes and always wore a face of makeup. I had nurses telling me on the delivery table how pregnancy agreed with me and I was luminous..it was really nice. People were very complimentive during my whole pregnancy which helped.... Afterwards is tough I have to say....the mushy tummy is kinda yucky But its all worth it

It depends on the day!! For the most part I feel like I look good. People keep telling me that pregnancy agrees with me so I must look half way decent.

I never felt pretty when I was preggo. I guess I had 24-7 queasiness a majority of my pregnancy and that contributed, my skin and hair changed for the worse and I never felt comfy in my growing body. I did find it amusing the few times I got fit on before I was really showing..at least then I felt maybe I am not as bad as I feel.
