Need hugs-Credit Card Fraud again
I got a call at 8AM today from Citicard stating that there was fraudulent activity on DH's card. Since he had gone into work to catch up on some stuff, I called him and he called them and found out that someone charged a $500 plane ticket yesterday. Weird thing is that the card is in our possession. DH suspects it was one of those people who have too much time on their hands who come up with algorithms to get credit card numbers.
I am just stressed now. After everything we went through with the robbery in March and we finally got our stuff back in June but the kid only got probation and community service, I am nervous. I am pregnant and hate this feeling that someone can just plug in some numbers and take everything.
If anybody is here this morning, I need hugs

i went through the same exact thing. someone even opened up a jc penney card in my name. i even have a jc penney card. shred ever piece of paper

We shred everything. DH thinks it was either mail fraud or someone figured out his number with an algorithm.
This is so annoying. I don't know where I am safe.

My dad's credit card was charged for $19,000!!! They don't use credit cards online, never give out socials. People will do anything to get access to these things! It was tough, but they finally got it all straightened out.

Happened to us a few months ago and me last year.
Last year, some numbers were stolen from the credit card companies office.
This year, they made very small charges... $8. at a fast food restaurant (we don't eat fast food) and $15 at a Payless in Brooklyn in the middle of a workday.
The credit card company says that it is not uncommon for them to charge little items because they largely go unnoticed. Most people don't check their bill that carefully

this happened to us last weekend!! I am soo stressed out! We are still waiting for the dispute form! 
Uh, did they get on the plane? Did they have a fake ID with your DH's name? SCARRRRYYY

I had fraud on my Debit/Visa last year. I also had the card in my possesion as well. They took over $1000 out of my checking acct. Be careful where you use your cards. I heard that there are these machines out there that make copies of your cards and the thief gets your # and uses it to make purchases.
