GREAT NEWS!!
As many as you know I had struggled with ITP and APLS for the last 2 years. In September I underwent chemotherapy to try to kill off the antibodies in my system causing these diseases and it worked. I'm in remission now , but still checking in with the doc every few months. When this all first started I was at only 11,000 platelets and dropping. Now, my platelets are at 190,000 and still climbing! In over 2 yrs, I have never had a platelet count this high!!! Normal range is 150,000-400,000. My doctor asked me my name again 2x's!! He was so shocked! My anitbody levels are all back to zero!!! So.. I definitely have a reason to celebrate this weekend!!
I just wanted to share my great news with everyone!
