My Dh is sooooooooo much like my Dad, in all the very best ways -
I'm a Daddy's girl, never thought I'd find ANYONE who would even come close to how awesome my Dad is -- but luckily I did 
Their only differences are looks-wise and preferences in baseball teams  Otherwise they are like best buddies

My DH and my Dad are great friends, as well as family. My husband has the same sense of humor as my Dad, so they get along famously.

I am my Dad's female clone, so that wouldn't have worked out...BUT, they are way tooooo close  in cahoots about something ALL the time. If DH and I have an argument, my Dad asks me what I did wrong!

Yes they're a lot alike, but I didn't realize it until after I married him. So technically I didn't marry a guy that reminds me of my father.

My dad passed away when I was 13 and my DH is SOOOO much like him so I guess so, it was like I was trying to replace him in a weird way.

Yes, infact, he's more and more like my dad everyday. JT looks up to my dad so much, and when we found out we were having a daughter, he said to me, "I'm so excited because now your dad and I have even MORE in common!" (because my dad has two daughters)

Absolutely, I see it more now. I didn't see it when we first started dating. But when my mom first met DH (who was 24 at the time), the first thing my mom said to me was "he looks EXACTLY like your father did when he was 24." I look at old pics of my father and its amazing how much they look alike

It was my INTENTION to marry a man that was NOTHING like my father. The only way that I wish he was like my father is, I wish he was as handy as my Dad other than that I am so thankful that he is nothing like my Dad.
