Greek Restaurant Recommendations?
Looking for a really good Greek restaurant - white tablecloth (I think that's what they call it) type of place - anywhere on LI or Manhattan.

I would highly recommend both of these places for Greek ...
Kellari Taverna- 44th between 5th & 6thLink
Estiatorio Milos - 55th between 6th & 7thLink

If you like seafood, we ate recently at a seafood place with Greek owners - Pelagos on Bell Blvd. in Bayside.
Most of the entrees are fish, but the appetizers and sides are mostly Greek and it was the best food I have had in a long time.

I second Milos!!!! We have been going to the one in Montreal, when we are there and then they put one in the city. IMO the Montreal one is better, but it's still amazing!!!!
If you want Queens, Mythos on Northern Blvd is fabulous!!!!! Right across the street from Oasis Cafe.

Thank you - my mouth is watering over the menu at Kellari!
Love most fish...we ate a lot of seafood in Greece. Apparently the American-Greek fare is a lot different from traditional Greek food.

I just threw a dinner there for work and it was fabulous. They have a wonderful selection of Greek wines also.

Babounia is amazing!
Onera is also nice. Its very fancy, but its small. The chef came out and helped us order and when my friend wanted something plain he asked if he could add some spices to make it tastier- and ti was amazing!

We've been going there for years, literally drive there from Lake George just for dinner!!

Molyvos in NYC is good - on 7th ave and I think 55th stree. So us Uncle Nick's, but it's casual.
There are also some great places in Astoria.

YUM, love this place, service isn't so hot though, very small and pretty casual. We take out from there alot.

Yea, the Greek Village is across the street from the AG Taverna, I don 't really like that place.

DH and I love Aliada in Astoria. His family is from Cyprus, and they go there for every special occassion.
