Please say a prayer for my mom...
My mom had some skin cancer removed from her face. They were suppoed to take a small piece out, but after going in there, they ended up having to cut from her nose all the way down her chin. Luckily for her, the doctor that performed the surgery is also a plastic surgeron, so the line looks very very small and is sorta in her laugh-line. I just pray they got it all out and that she will be ok. Makes me want to NEVER go in the sun again!

 I'm so sorry Diana! Is she ok? It must have been so hard for her to do the surgery. I hope and pray she recovers fully...all cancer gone and no scars.

Thank you all for your prayers
She is ok, for the most part, but she wasn't expecting a huge cut through her face.  Each time they would remove some of it, they would test it to see if it was all out. The surgery was supposed to last an hour and it wound up lasting THREE HOURS! I brought her some cocoa butter to use when the stiches come out  I just hope that they really got it all out. Then I think about all the years that they (my parents) would spend the summers in South Carolina baking in the sun without sunscreen!  Makes me sooo mad!!
