Hi Everyone!!!!,
I really just wanted to say thank you again for the support. i truly appreciate all the kind words.
My job was def. messed up, they offered no true reasoning and when i questioned them on how come I was never warned,and yet given so much responsoiblity prior to this firing--- they said nothing!
just that i wasnt the right match for them...total and pure bs on there part, cause they had no true answer.
I am sure I can persue legal action yet I dont even think I have the strength to deal with it.
I just want to forget that such horrible pple truly existed and that there must be something out there better for me..
Thanks again for all the support, many of you have been there for me time and time again and I cant say it enough how much i love and appreciate you all.
p.s., thanks for the info re: cell phone scott! i was able to recover a lot of my numbers

Im so sorry about your job.
Your phone, if you call your company they will be able to save your #'. This happened to DH and they were able to retrieve his #'s in his phone.

OMG, so sorry Mich!!! You're better than that job anyways!!
If they gave you no justification for firing you, go get UNEMPLOYMENT!!! The only way I know of that you can't get unemployment is if you were fired for insubordination or not doing your job.
AT least you'll get some money in the meantime!!

Michi, what they did you youwas totally s***y, but I don't think you should waste your time with "legal action". NY is an "at will " state. They can fire you b/c they don;t like you, plain and simple. Unless you can PROVE that it was because of race, gender, religion, handicap or age you basically have no case. I wish we could do something to them, but I don't think there's anything you can do except chalk it up to experience, hold your head high, collect unemployment and move on!
