thank you!!! I have to take the day off from work but I have to do what I have to do. My boss knows tghe situation and he is 100% ok with it. The first evening appintment they could give me was 2.5 months from now!
I told my boss that and he said "Oh no, you cant wait, yuo need to go now and get answers!" TG he is so understanding!

Be prepared to get pregnant VERY soon!
I had just began the consult process w/Dr. Stelling at RSofNY in Stony Brook, and he determined I was ovulating THAT day...  ...so I was lucky that it happened naturally...but I joked w/Stelling that I was still going to give him "credit" for helping me get preggo!
Their offices are VERY fertile...Good luck to you...I hope to hear some good news soon!!!!!!!!!

I had my first appointment this week with Dr. Bray. She was very nice and got right down to business but she did bring back flashbacks of my Catholic school days. The first appt is a breeze, dont worry about it. Oh yeah, there is a sign asking that you wear nothing scented to your next appointment, but I dont think she had any allergic reaction to me, so you should be fine too.

Oh NO! I haven't had to deal with nuns from Catholic school in years! I hope I can handle it!! But you know, she could be hamibal lector and as long as she can help me get PG I'm happy!! ha ha
Someone else told me about the "no perfume" rule too.
Will you keep seeing her or will you work with another doctor next time?

Like you said, as long as the job gets done, I could care less. I have an IUI scheduled for tomorrow, have already had bloodwork and a sonogram done, so she seems to be right on top of things. Thats enough for me.
I guess the fact she wasn't throwing chalk or smacking my hands with a ruler was a good omen too.

How long did you have to wait til she wanted to do the IUI? I mean, I dont want to wait, Id llove to do it right away.

I thought I'd update you all on my appt with Dr. Saketos since you all have shared so much with me. She was very nice and I like her, she def. got me moving quick, - I'm having an HSG next week, going for bloodwork this week, DH is doing his part and then we will discuss our next move in about 3 weeks.
I felt very good about the appt and that things are finally moving along (the delay was partly my fault since I'm in my fantasy land and wanted to keep hoping a BFP would happen on it's own)
The only thing I am upset about is that my stupid insurance doesn't cover anything once there is a diagnosis of infertility. I got the price sheet 
IUI is about $350 and IVF is $4000 w/o monitoring
Baby dust to all of us....

My insurance didnt cover anything either. I waited unitl open enrollment on DH's policy so now at least I have secondary insurance that covers some of it. I am glad to know they have a price sheet though because I am still nervous something will happen and they wont pay for it. I'll have to ask for it. Thanks for sharing that.
