oh, and when I'm conducting music, its really REALLY hard for me to conduct righty, but you really have to. I confuse the crap outta people! hahahha

I'm the only lefty in my family  so I'm very used to everything being done righty. DH is righty. I can do a bunch of things right-handed but I can't write and I'm really over-all just left-hand dominant.

When I was a little kid visiting my family in Italy, they used to yell at my parents for allowing me to use my left hand (both left-handed and punished in school in Italy for their left-handedness). Thankfully, my mom told them all to shut up. In some places, they still see it as 'evil.'

That is so bizarre. My grandfather was forced to be a righty, but that was Scotland in the 1920s. Neither of my parents & none fo their siblings are lefty, so I don't know about that generation.
My brother & I are both lefty & my parents think
its funny, not evil.
ETA- I did recently learn that the Latin word for left is sinsister & that's why on contact perscription, left eye is OS (Occulous Sinister)
so, now when I put my left contact in, I call it my evil eye!

I am. I hated the desks is high school, it was do difficult to write on those!

We had some that were reversed & I would have to request them for things like regents & AP exams, where I'd be writing for hours.

I am a lefty. But I play sports right handed, use a scissors right & use a mouse right handed. My Dad was a lefty. In my small dept of 6 people 4 of us are left handed.

i'm ambidextrous.
when I was a baby i use to have seizures from 11 months old till 1 1/2 years old. so when i was little i was a left handed little girl and they said the doctors because my seizures caused brain damaged to me. so they were afraid that the right side of my brain would not work as well because i was a left handed which my parents thought i was already smart as a kid and she didn't think i had to but the doctors insisted so they switched me to be a right handed person So now i can use both of my hands.

YES! I'd always get a cramp in my arm. They didn't have lefty desks in my school.
Thry didn;t have them in my school either
