I am applying to teach a class on TTC
I decided to apply to teach an adult education class at Nassau Community College on family planning/ttc/infertility. There are so many different topics for adult education. Some of which are kite making, watch repair and just classes on how to relax. I decided it was about time, there would be a class on the very topics we speak about all the time on this board, so I am submitting my idea for this class.
The classes are never expensive and I figure so many people may benefit.
I am mailing out my resume and cover letter today.
If anyone knows of other colleges that have adult education as well, let me know.

Not sure how far you want to travel but I always get a catalog for adult education at Queenborough CC in Bayside NY.
Also what about the New School? I remember from Sex and the City when they had Carrie "teach" a class/seminar there

Michelle that's great!! I taught Adult Ed. in Lynbrook years ago, ESL. YOu could probably offer the classes at lots of school districts. It is certainly a topic that has come "out of the closet" so to speak....
How was the seminar on Sunday, BTW??

I know that school districts offer Adult education classes as well as BOCES. Good luck.

why dont u try an online teaching class?
That was always appealing to me bc u can sit in bed grading papers ; )
I know my dh graduated from university of pheonix online. They have a whole bunch of classes. I know u need your masters but I am assuming that u do. Otherwise u can try suffolk community college too. I graduated from stonybrook. Look into them. They are always doing various things.
