Do you still drink?

I was just wondering if you have givien up alcohol since you are TTC. Whenever I have a drink I feel guilty, but I also don't feel like I should have to give up my glass of wine or beer until I know I am preggo.

I still drink, but in moderation, maybe a glass or two. And I do feel guilty.

I definitley still drink. Sorry, can't be giving my drinks up so soon!

I am not a big drinker but when I was TTC and I wanted a drink, I did and never felt guilty.

I always do.
And I think to myself, Id better do it while I still can!!!!

We are still drinking, although, we are not BIG drinkers-
we had made a pitcher of Sangria and have been sipping on it all week long

yes i still drink like once a month though.

I still do - I figure why give it up any sooner than I have to
there will be 9 months without it.
nothing heavy though - wine at parties.

I usually drink more before my O date then I generally have a glass or two of wine or sangria afterwards.

I agree when I know for sure I will completely stop drinking and not to sound like an alcoholic but 9 months is a long time!!!

I still drink. Not in excess, but I still have a few every once in a while.

I have had a couple of beers since we are trying but once i find out i will stop.....

I still drink but not as much. A glass or two of wine at dinner maybe once a week. That's about it.

nope.. I was never a big drinker anyway... So thats sorta a plus.. Dh also gave it up for me.. I couldnt stand there and see him drink beer. It would KILL me !!

Im not a drinker. It takes me half a glass of wine to get poop-faced. And just thing about how many women get pregnant BECAUSE of alcohol. They have many healthy babies.

Yes.

And my sister does too...she got preggo after a night of tequila celebrating with the family! Thank God it's a healthy baby in there!

I haven't given it up yet either. It would raise too many questions if I didn't have a glass of wine at family get togethers. And I also don't know how long it will take for it to happen. Once I find out, I'll quit. 9 months is long enough.

maybe a few on the weekends?

I am glad that you asked this question -- I was thinking about the same issue. I drink with dinner and on weekends, normally, but now I am trying to cut back. It's not easy, since all of my friends party a lot, and I'm used to doing the same!

I still drank when I was TTC. I dont drink every week only on social occassions but TTC never stopped me from having a glass of wine, a beer or a shot of tequila at parties.

at first I stopped during the 2ww and cut down a LOT...then after 5-6 months of TTC I would have the occasional glass of wine in the 2ww...NOW after 22 months of TTC I drink a bottle of wine a DAY Just kidding. I dont but I DO NOT put limitations on my lifestyle because I would have wasted a whole lot of time being so good.

Alcohol though is not good for TTC so I would cut down if plannign but not stop if you dont over induldge.
