This stinks! I am sorry you have to go through this. Maybe it is time to really evalute this job, is there anyway you can quit? I know the school yr hasnt started so subbing is tough right now. How about working a temp position through an agency?

OMG, Jen, that's freaking horrible. I mean, absolutely, downright nasty of your boss! How badly do you need that job? I'd totally quit if it were me. I know it's not a realistic option, but man, it'd be that or I'd kill her!

What a control freak your boss is. And especially after she approved the date....I'm certain the project can wait. And I bet she has no life and think nobody else does besides work.

Screw her- really become a pain in her butt and get fired so you can collect unemployment while looking for a job. My SIL is the entertainment industry so she in unemployment all the time-getting fired would work out great!
