Tonight. I just got DH his card.  I couldn't believe how crowded the store was (more women getting card than men). I usually buy my V-Day card early. DH is getting my card today during or after work too.

We are exchanging cards tonight because we are both working.
We agreed on no gifts, just a card. I did request a poem from him cuz he always writes me nice poems.

Hey, if it makes you feel any better, my bf of 5 years basically said "it's a BS holiday" and isn't doing anything for me at all. no card, no call, no nothing. I won't even see him today. So, compared to that, a book is looking reaaaal good right now.

We're not exchanging anything this year. We gave each other a big hug this morning and that is enough for me. I always thought of Valentine's Day as a fake holiday anyway.

Tonight - we always exchange after work. We get each other a little something, nothing big. We usually go away for the weekend but not this year because Im not really up for it.

DH has never bought me a card. Ever.
He hates cards.
We're nto big on it as a holiday, so I don't excpect anything from him, so I bought chocolate for both of us.

Jess. I don't see the problem. You must have forgotten to cook him a delicious meal. 
I wouldn't sweat it. For some holidays, even when we're together, we wait until nighttime to exchange gifts.

yes, I came home and the box was sitting by the front door. I couldn't wait to open it - but I pretty much knew from the wrapping it was a Vermont Teddy Bear!!!
