Dear Baby Joey,
I just wanted to tell what an amazing mother you have. It's been a very long 5+ weeks of daily/nightly pain for her while she waited for you to be strong enough to be born. As a mom we would all lay our life on the line for our child. Before your mom officially became a mom, she already did just that.
I imagine the next few weeks will be very difficult for your family. You will be your mom's biggest strength to get through this time. So little one - show her what a truly hell raiser you'll be. Scream & show her the lungs that she painstakingly developed this past month. Then after she's done with the surgery, you can get down to the task of being loved and adored by her. Just the way it was intended.

Joey: you aren't even born yet and you are loved by so many. But there are no two people who love you more than your Mommy & Daddy. Your parents have wanted you for SO long and now they are finally going to meet you tomorrow! It is going to be a blessed day and a dream come true for them. Your honorary "aunties and uncles" here in NY (and elsewhere) cannot wait to 'meet' you too .. you are already such a special little boy to all of us!
Deb: you have all our love and support not only tomorrow but in the weeks that lie ahead. We know this little man is going to bring you all the strength you need to get thru the coming weeks - he is lucky to have a Mommy as strong, courageous and loving as you are!
