FYI Extreme Makeover Home Edition fans (about Piestwa family)
I got this info from someone who worked on the Piestwa site (remember, the season finale that included Jessica Lynch?):
"3 weeks ago the Piestewa's went back into our local Sears store trying to return the appliances for cash. Completely unbelievable they would do something like this. They have still not moved into the home and now we are wondering if they ever will since they are selling off what was given to them.
This reporter has also found out they are trying to sell all the furniture and have already contacted a local realtor about putting the house on the market as soon as their contract is up. This just floors me since there are so many people out there that would be be so grateful to receive a house and they dont even have their video noticed. This has our town in a full uproar. "

I'm quite sure it is. The land where the house was built was far from their old place. I think they had travel/job issues.

Maybe they realized that they can not afford a house like that....
I know the house was a gift, and with any gift, the receiver is free to do anything they want with it. If I remember correctly, they had a mortgage on the house. They couldnt afford the trailer that they lived in....whats to say they could afford that huge house.
As generous as the show is, I do not think they take into consideration the long term costs of having these huge houses.

WHAT!!??? they got that house PLUS $100K on TOP of that!!??????????? And they're trying to sell off appliances and furniture!!??? W T FFFF!!!
AND not for anything - I'M 99.9% sure they MUST HAVE gotten some type of $$$ when their daughter was killed in combat!!!!!
what is wrong with people!!!!!???

Jessica Lynch is alive...it was the Piestewa's daughter that was killed in combat.

Jessica Lynch is alive...it was the Piestewa's daughter that was killed in combat.

I hope it's not true also, but the person who wrote this also visited the house a while after it was built and it was completely empty- even the horse was gone. She had pictures to prove it.
