just to update (i know this has been posted before), coindre is a huge open field (no fence) and "legally" dogs are supposed to be leashed. however, it is a rarity that that the dogs are leashed. as long as your dog is social and not overly aggressive, there shouldn't be a problem. all the dogs (small and large) get along great and enjoy each others company. there is also a beach at the bottom of the hill where the owners take the dogs to swim.
make sure to bring plastic bags, a bowl and a leash.
NOW, on to coordinating the time/date. any ideas?

Casey can be completely trusted- Tally I'd have to monitor very very closely. I might choose to just take Casey.

legally they are supposed to be leashed but almost all of the dogs are unleashed. i have been going for awhile and have never witnessed any issues/fighting. as long as the dog is sociable and not overly aggressive, there aren't any problems.
some people do leash their dogs (especially those w/ toys dogs). all the owners are very watchful and if a leashed dog is seen, we always tell our dogs to be gentle. dogs are curious creatures though and whenever a "new kid on the block" comes to visit, there is usually a lively welcoming.

leashed dogs are welcomed too. techincally it is the law anyway.

Im just nervous cause abbys still a puppy and only 3 or so lbs yet.
She also hasnt had her rabies shot. I mean obviously she doesnt have rabies, but do you think its ok to have her around around dogs outside without it?

as much as we would like to have you, it might be best not to bring her. as mentioned, the dogs can be pretty playful and i would hate for your sweet little cutie to get unintentionally hurt. i wouldn't worry so much w/ the rabies as i would worry about the curiousity that the other dogs might display towards her.
if you want, you can always hold her. i know, not that fun for her but it least it will give you an opportunity to view the parkk and to meet everyone.

yeah may not be a good idea yet.
She has been around 4-5 family members dogs , and plays with my SIL's and MILS a lab and pit bull often......so she knows and likes to play with big dogs, BUT its one on one and not too many at once , and so she may need to get a little older first.

i am pretty flexible in re: to the date. how does either the weekend of the the 19th or 26th work for everyone? i usually go in the late afternoon (more activity) but open to any tme that works best for others.

That would just torture him and he would end up pulling on his leash the whole time, choking himself.
