I get disability....but I also get a full time baby sitter when I return to work. Its great when your employers are excited grandparents to your children.

12 weeks unpaid. I'm guessing $170 week in disability as well- for 6 weeks or 8 if c-section.

We have saved a lot so we can cover that time. But, I'll be working from home two days of the week after- VERY HAPPY about that.

Zip nada, I have my own business where I work in different dental offices but I am not on their payroll. I give them an invoice for my services/days/hours and get paid tax free.

I get no paid maternity leave what so ever. I am able to take my 2 weeks vacation and then an extra 4-6 weeks of unpaid leave. Does anyone else get this problem

nope...we don't even get disability down here...the only thing that comes back to us is short term if we pay into it ourselves and if we have a preexisting plan, can't get it once we're preg

We don't get any paid maternity leave.

I have to go meet with our HR dept. to see what they have to say, but I know other people have taken sick time and vacation time. The good thing about the place I work is we all get one sick day a month and you continue compiling sick time over the years while you work here. If you have been here for awhile and don't take a lot of sick time, it adds up. The longer you are here, you also get more vacation time. I believe I should be able to take about 4 months off paid.

I get 6 weeks at 100%, then 3 weeks maternity at 40%, then my 2 vacation weeks at 100% so thats a total of 11 weeks out. Then i have the option to PHase back, PT at 60% pay, 3days a week.

I just get the 6 weeks NYS short term disability - I don't qualify for FMLA, I've only been here since January. But I'm taking an extra 6 weeks anyway - I'll decide at that point if I want to come back.

Oh yeah...and it's all unpaid.

I don't get anything extra. I have to use my sick time first and then I can go out 8 wks disability if natural and 12 wks for c-section. I do get a total of up to 1 yr but no pay. I can also go back 60% part time.

I get 12 weeks paid leave since I had a c-section. If I had delivered vaginally I would have gotten 8 weeks paid leave.

I get 6 weeks pay if vaginal, 8 if c-section (4 at 100%, the remaining at 2/3 pay). Eligible for FMLA but no pay for the last four weeks. Then we have optional leave up to a total of six mos (to include the FLMA 12 weeks). I think you have to take a minimum of 2 weeks vacation for the optional leave, so that's another 2 weeks paid, then the rest unpaid.

Still early and work doesn't know so I only know what I can find on the intranet and benefits planner.

I have short term disabilty insurance that covers my leave for 11 weeks at 60% pay. It's not 100% as I'd love but more than enough to stay home. Maybe you can get some short term insurance to help.
