yes mine is but up to a certain amount for jewelry so anything over your responsible for or you have to ask for a higher amount, i covered a bracelet and earrings also.

I have a seperate policy that covers e-ring, both our diamond wedding bands, my diamond bracelet and a diamond & sapphire ring I got in Aruba. All are covered through State Farm who I use to have Homeowners through. we pay less then $100 year. We switched our homeowners policy to MetLife but they couldn't match the jewelry policy.
A year ago I had to file a claim to replace a diamond from my wedding band that I lost. We paid for it & they reimbursed us 100%. If it were on my homeowners I would have had my deductible to hit first so would have paid for it 100% ourselves.

we have a separate jewelry policy for a few reasons- if we submitted a claim against homeowners, our homeowners rate would skyrocket. Also, our jewelry policy does a replacement based on where we want to shop. As in, I go to my favorite jeweler, he gives me a price for the exact replacement. My jewelery policy then cuts me a check for that amount. I do not have to go to their jeweler and I do not have a deductible at all.

most companies offer a rider onto a Homeowner's Policy or a renters policy. It's inexpensive & most people get them w/ full coverage.

I have this. We put my engagment ring and wedding band on it. I think its pretty great because even if you lose it someplace outside your home it is still covered.
