How much do you spend on groceries in a week?
I know a lot of you do your shopping at Costco , BJ's, etc... but about how much do you spend on groceries in a week?
it's just the 2 of us and we spend between $80-$100  and it's all gone a few days later
when I lived alone I spent $40 a week TOPS and it lasted!

I shop just for DH and I and I will spend between $100-$220. I shop every other week.

About $250 a month.
But that doesn't include the paper products and stuff I get at Target (toothpaste, toilet paper, paper towels, etc.)

we spend exactly 50 a week but we go to bjs once ever 2 or 3 months and spend about 150 there

$50-$60 for 2ppl
we get 5 meals for the work week, he gets soda, i get water and juice.
we don't get any junk food or stuff we will not eat.. yummmmy junk food

Honestly, my problem is I do not clip coupons which would be of great help. All the time I keep saying I will strat to clip the coupons but I never get around to it. This price I quote does not even include going to the fish market. DH and I eat alot of fish so I have to go to the fish market as well.

oh my god i spend so much
i dont even want to think about it
i just calculated
from 6/15-7/15 i spent $481!!!!!!!!!!!
we did have 2 bbq's though...
i just calculated 5/15-6/15 and it was $330 - which is probably more normal
so about $80-85 a week - and thats just 2 people!!!!!!!!!!
but im cooking ALOT and making recipes..
maybe i should cut down on the cooking..
my probelm is i never clip coupons and I also just buy what i need. and i "need" more than i think i do.

I would say about the same - plus a monthly/bimonthly shopping trip to Costco ~ $200

We only spend about $20-40 a week, depending on how many nights we will be home. We buy all our meat at either Fairway, John's Farms, or BJs though. We also buy all our non-food items (ie paper towels, detergent) at BJs. We probably spend $200 a month on these trips.

We're usually $60-80 per week for the two of us. Last week DH spent over $50 on filet mignon alone.  5 days later almost all the filet mignon is gone! and I only ate one piece!

DH does a major shop once a month, stocks up on our meats, can goods, etc...and usually spends around $250 .I'll pick up fresh produce during the week which is probably about $25 per week.
Paper towels, TP, Toothpaste, etc... we buy at costco

We've tried to keep it on the low side, but it gets tricky ... I buy things on sale and stock up a lot of times to. Right now I have probably 15 lbs of chicken cutlets, 10 pork chops, 6 turkey tunderloins, 20 hamburgers, 4 lbs of chopmeat, 4 lbs of ground turkey, 6 steaks, 6 chicken burgers, 1 huge turkey I'm not sure what to do with right now, etc, etc ... I buy boneless chicken breasts when they are on sale ($1.79-$1.99 lb) and make my own chicken cutlets.
I also buy fresh vegetables and fruit every week ... which adds up (sometimes close to $25 on just that).

We spend about $50-$100 a week. It really depends on if we need things that we normall have. Just meals alone, is $50, if things need to be refilled, then it goes up a little bit.
But we bring breakfast and lunch to work and eat dinner in during the week, so....it really isn't that bad!

We spend about $40 per week-sometimes less. This week I'll probably only spend maybe $25. We go to BJ's every couple of months and spend $150-200. We eat dinner out maybe 1x per week and lunch about 1x per week. I prefer to take my breakfast and lunch to work and DH usually eats only dinner.

Met too. But I will often need to pick uo little things throughout the week- more milk or fruit, a specific ingredient, etc...

Our grocery bill (for just me and him) is never under $250.
It ranges from $250-400 and its scary that in one week, the food is GONE!
And we have to start all over again.
I guess all the Vitamin Waters and SOBE drinks we buy dont help the price either.
