I was as a child naturally left handed..my family apaprently thought there was something wring with that and kept putting things in my right hand. I had bad handwriting for YEARS

That's awesome!
My DH claims to be ambidextrous...or should I say brags about being ambidextrous but I always tell him, unless you can write with both, you are not truly ambidextrous! Then he calls me a hater.

Another thing...my twin sister is right-handed and I am left-handed. We hang up clothes on hangers differently...when we were growing up, I always knew if she took something of mine and put it back, because it was hung up backwards.
DH is also a lefty...so our clothes now are facing the same way

I forced myself to learn how to cut right handed.
Left handed scissors in school couldn't cut dirt.

I thought people topped doing that in the 50s.
I'm left handed. I used to have an issue with scssors, but now it is the ink smudging that gets me.
Question for the lefties--do you mouse lefty or righty? It is the only thing I do righty.

My mom is also a lefty, and my grandfather went up to her school and told the nuns NOT to force her to be a righty. Since my parents are divorced and it was just my mom and I, I actually grew up in a house that was COMPLETELY left handed. Living with DH has complicated my life.
and btw, I use the mouse righty - I get confused if I switch it to lefty!

I'm righty at the mouse, cutting, throwing, batting. I'm lefty at writing, kicking (left foot dominant), hockey.
I can very easily write with both hands, and when I was actually hardcore into softball, I can bat from from sides of the plate.
I never know "what hand I am" when I try something new!
My parents are both righties. My sister is 100% righty, and brother is 100% lefty.
My brother plays baseball pretty seriously, so my parents really wish HE was the ambidextrous one instead of me!
