What the heck is wrong with people???
So, my doorbell just rings, and I'm sick and laying in bed. I run to throw on my robe to see who it is. By the time I get there, no on is there, but there is a LIPA tree clearing truck in front of my house. I called the other day b/c there is a big branch hanging off one of the wires.
Anyway, I think, great, and look out the back window to see what they are doing, and one of the guys is taking a LEAK in my backyard!!!!  
WHAT THE HECK??!!!!!

I didn't say anything, I thought about it...
I also thought about calling LIPA, but what could they do? I would be afraid the guy would come back and do something...

we once had a guy from cablevision, walking thru our backyard!! I immediately opened my window and said "EXCUSE ME - CAN I HELP YOU?????"
he proceeded to tell me he was from cablevision and was just checking the cable lines, etc... whatever....
so i told him, "WELL, PLEASE GO TO THE FRONT SO I CAN SEE SOME ID!!!!"
he did - but i was STILL pizzed he was in our backyard w/out our permission!! UM- ya think you could've rang the doorbell out of courteousy and just let us know!? BOTH cars were in the driveway, so it's not like he couldn't figure out that someone was home!!

Yeah, there are 2 cars in our driveway right now!! They rang the doorbell, but didn't wait more than 30 seconds!

I am not in any way condoning what he did but if he was there when you answered the door, would you have let him inside your house to use your restroom? I certainly wouldn't have!
You should definitely call LIPA and put in a complaint. This guy should get fired for this!
