Afternoon dumb question-How often do you wash your car?
I probably was mine every 2 months..but i see people iwth these shiny cars all ovr the place and it makes me wonder how often they go to the car wash

Totally not enough Ever since I got a silver car that really hides the dirt I go months and months. I just have a million and one other things to do it's the last thing I think of.

When my car was old and crappy I washed it like every 3-6 months!
Now that I have a brand new car I'm obsessive with it. I wash it myself in the summer once a week and I will continue that until it gets too cold to do it.
Once it's too cold I'll probably take it to the car wash once a week or once every 2 weeks - it gets expensive!

I would do it more often if there was a car wash more convenient. We don't drive every day either-- as we live fairly close to the city and just take the train into work, and pick up whatever we need to on our walk home.
In the year that we have had our car-- it's probably been *washed* 4 or 5 times. Although-- it still looks pretty clean.

Definately once a month at the least- it never rains here for months at a time so our cars get super dirty.

every couple of months. it's a light brown/tan color and hides dirt really well.
i held off washing it this summer since I had my beach chairs in the back and they were loaded with sand. no point in washing it just to get more sand in it the following weekend.

lol me too it never looks dirty...its bad but i have to say once every 5 months or so..i try to do it more often in the winter because of the salt though

not enough- I used to have silver- and it never looked bad
but now that I have black- I shoud go every 2 weeks- I am going to try
I love how it looks when it's clean- I almost didn't recongize it after I got it washed

the inside gets cleaned every week (b/c DH takes the car to work) the outside is more like every 3 months but should be done more often than that.
