Who was the first person you told...
Was it your DH?
Mine wasn't!! He was on the LIRR, I didn't think I should tell him then lol.
I called my SIL first, Dh was second!

DH...
I called him on his cell. I din't even wait till I got home. He knew I had an appointment with the gyno for just a regular checkup. It was so funny cuz we ended up calling each other at the same time. When I was dialing his number my cell phone beeped with his number calling...LOL He wanted to know how my check up went...LOL LOL So I told him.
He thought I was kidding, then when I told him I would never say something like that as a joke, he just jumped for joy. By the time I got home he had already thought of some names...LOL LOL

Well, DH was with me when I tested so I guess I really didn't have to tell him! We tested on Wednesday, went to the doc on Friday and told both sets of parents on Sunday.

DH was second my SIL was the first. My DH wasn't home and i wanted to tell him in person. I was busting to tell someone in the meantime so i called my SIL.

I told DH first.
I took a digital pregnancy test at 5am and ran in to the bedroom, flipped the light on and shoved it in his face - and said "Can you SEE this?" (because he kept telling me he didn't see a line on the prior HPTs I took)

DH...I called him at work to find out when he was coming home...he knew something was up and even joke with he then SGT that I must be PG.
When he got home...I was so nervous...so he finally said..."do you want to tell me something...or should I just peek in the trash and see what I can find?"
The 2nd person we told was my 6 month old nephew...we figured he could keep the secret until we were ready to tell everyone else.

I was on the phone with my cousin when i took the test (because i did not think there was a chance that i was PG) and she heard my reaction and she knew the results. THen i woke up my DH and told him. All of you on LIF were next.

I called DH hysterical and told him to rush home- he thought I chopped off a finger or something. I was so overwhelmed & excited!
We didn't tell anyone else for a few weeks.
