I think Trump is offering Rebecca a position as we speak....NO WAY is he going to allow someone he just hired to be the finnal decision.

I tend to agree Moe
Trump is SO BAD on "live" TV .. its like he does not even know what the hell is saying and doing.
I totally think he was going to try and twist around what was going on and also hire REbecca, and prob. figured Randal would support that... he seemed pretty shocked when Randal said there is only ONE apprentice

Yeah it may have looked like Randell had final say on TV but definitely not when it comes to who Trump wants to give a job to

WORD! We are totally thinking on the same wavelength.. I don't think Randal was trying to be a jerk at all really.. I think he felt that it was a trap or a trick by Trump perhaps (I posted this on the other thread )

Well quite frankly, if Trump was going to hire them both.. then he should have just done that.. NOT given Randal the option to choose. why give Randal THAT power?
In a strange way I don't blame Randal at all ... to me there should be only ONE clear winner, unless Trump himself decides otherwise
But I'm probably in the minority with that opinion 
I agree with you, Flee. From about halfway through the show, I was saying that he was going to hire both. I thought I was right, and I can't believe Trump would give Randal the power to make that decision!!
(I DVRed it, so we finished up late)

i had a feeling early on that trump was going to hire both of them but unfortunately his plan did not play out as he had thought it would. randall was so ecstatic about being hired and was TOTALLY caught off guard when presented w/ this decision. i don't think he fully understood what trump was asking/saying. i have a feeling that he is going to look back on this and regret it.

I agree with everyone....
Was really shocked at the ending. Although i understand what Randall was saying...
I think i wouldn't have begrudged someone an opportunity like that. Especially someone i "respected".

Randall said that there should be only one apprenctice hired tonight. I think thats the way he covered himself....it was like give me today to enjoy that I won and tomorrow we can all work together.
I probably would have thought it was a test and more than likely would have reacted the same EXACT way.

That really was weird- I am sure Randal was totally thrown off guard. I was bothered by it but I agree with whoever said that this may have been some sort of test by Trump.
And if Trump really did want to hire Rebecca, it's HIS company!
BTW, Mark? TOTALLY smokin'. Much hotter than the men on that little Wednesday show y'all are so into. What's it called again?

I really wanted Rebecca to win. She actually has been my favorite since the beginning.
I definitely think she will be working with the Trump Organization.
I also thought he was going to hire both. I think even Rebecca was very surprised by Randall's decision at that time. It is true what someone said that the company belongs to Trump and he can definitely hires whoever he wants. I personally do not think there was any trick attached to him asking Randall to make the decision. I really think that Donald thought that since Randall and Rebecca respected each other so much and worked so well together that once the question was asked, he was going to say OK. It is true that it is one apprentice like Randall said but he was already chosen first so that he gives all the credit that he can possibly want.......I guess he did not want to share.....and really don't see why he didn't do it. They both chose different projects and would have been working in different things...plus they could have been together like Carolyn and George to a certain extent in terms of working together.
Actually with his decision, I lost some respect for Randall. He was already chosen as the apprentice and as being the favorite.....I don't see how there's anything wrong with sharing especially if you had already being chosen...Sure he is nice and humble but this time he didn't act like that. But I guess it's all part of the "game".
And Alla was definitely out of control. It is one thing to state your opinion but another thing to bash someone like that. There was no need for that. She's out to prove to the world how "tough" she is.
I always knew she wasn't going to make it to the end as I had expressed it before because I knew eventually she was going to come head to head with Donald...and with him, there could only be one boss.....

First Trump asked both of them what they thought of each other. It was obvious that Trump respects both of them as well.
He chose Randall as the winner. And after Randall enjoyed it the spotlight, he called him back and asked him if Rebecca should be hired. Randall said that there was only ONE apprentice.....and make sure he referred to the name of the show.....
I think Randall's decision definitely surprised Rebecca but also Trump..and everyone else that was watching that thought he was so nice and humble.
