I don't know, but it's wierd. The few times that I watched the show  , I felt like Nick would get annoyed with Jessica's stupidity and that if anyone, HE'd leave HER - not vice versa.

Seriously, i really hate ANY celebrity who is rich and famous for NOTHING. OK she is a decent singer- i will give her that. But her music BLOWS and i think she is a bobblehead idiot. I mean really, what is so special about her?

I personally think showbiz got to her head...and they were not on the same page. I think he wanted to be a dad and she wanted to focus on her career...he seems more down to earth and she seems like a diva...
what's your opinion?

I agree with your assessment and think the constant scutiny & gossip got to them. I cannot stand her for some reason but do like Nick. He seems like a nice guy.

I always say that "you never know what happens behind closed doors" when you are guessing about other people's relationships. I've had girlfriends who dated guys I don't like, but there was SOMETHING when it was just the two of them that made them happy. No one truly knows what my hubbie and I are like when we are alone, but we to the public, we are like the "odd couple!"
But still guessing, I have to say that from things I heard from Nick, I think he was thinking he could change her alot. He said once that he had a 5 year plan for her and I think he thought he could mold her into a good wife and mother.
Then, I think she found this stardom and her father isn't good for her. I think they grew apart, like many other couples, and had their relationship dissected on national TV.
I think she still isn't sure if she made the right choice, but it seems like he is okay with the decision. It seems like he moved on and now she is realzing that the grass isn't always greener!

I think Papa Joe was a thorn in Nick's side...an annoyance that would never go away. I think that Jessica thought the grass would be greener on the other side and so far it's been a bunch of dead weeds. Nick is the one who is making out and Jess will want him back when it's too late.
