I heard on the radio that the dad was some kind of assemblyman or something like that. Amazing!
Dude they live in Arkansas  At least the kids arent sleeping with brother and sister and are from the same father and not 16 different ones

The father is also a real estate developer. They are building a house with 9 bathrooms, don't remember the number of rooms. Right now they live in a 3Br/2Ba house.

Omg could you imagine being pregnant for basically 16 years of your life????
My grandmother on my Dad's side had 16 children though not all lived. And my grandfather died young!! Imagine if he would have lived longer!
My grandmother on my mom's side had 10.
DH's stepfather is from a family of 13.

Okay, may an obvious question BUT..... How on earth do you properly care for 16 kids? I wonder if she has any additional help at all. My mother had 3 good kids and struggled with us. I really could not ever ever imagine being able to handle it. God bless those who can. I am guessing at the very least, the older ones are helping with the younger ones.

Could be. That was the deal with both my grandmothers.
And I think you can care well for that many children - if you are cut out for it mentally and emotionally and it appears that they are. My mom is so close with her brothers and sisters and so is my dad. They really are beautiful families.

When you have a big family like that everyone helps out. I'm sure all th kids have chores and the older ones help out with the younger kids.

Im one of 9 and am on #6 myself (MY LAST) , yes at times it can be trying trust me!!! But when i see my kids playing with eachother and making eachother laugh and telling eachother they love one another its all worth it!!!! besides it really is not as hard as people think, I guess when you are used to it, and have a routine , it all runs smoothly..but my god my laundry

I saw this on TLC, and she homes school them too, so she barely has any free time for herself. But they do seem like a very happy family.
