I'm Susan, DH is Joe. I'm 29 years old and DH is 37. We met at my sister's wedding in May of 1998 and have been together since. We were both in the wedding party and came to the party single. He is my brother-in-law's best friend since elementary school.

DH proposed on my sister's 3 year wedding anniversary bc it was the date we met. He proposed at the winery that we went to on our first official date. A little over a year later, on 7/7 (our lucky number), we got married at Vineyard Caterers (keeping with the theme.)

We've talked about children since we first met each other, and now 7 years later, we're hoping it'll finally happen for us! We've only been actively TTC for the past year, but, like most of us, did not anticipate it taking this long. We're really looking forward to starting a family soon!

ETA: How could I forget to mention my furry little men --- Wiggles, Italian Greyhound, and Rascal, Rat Terrier.

Okay, adding yet another Donna (just turned 36) to the board. Chris is 39. We have known each other for over 18 years - meeting at Rocky Horror, the picture below proves how long ago we met
I never had any interest in dating him until a few years ago although he did try his best long ago. He was going through a divorce and that was when I fell in love with him. We were married Jan 2005.
Our son died April 28th this year - surviving 26 days. My water broke from an amnio test at the end of my 19th week and CJ was born at the end of my 25th week. His lungs were severely underdeveloped.
Chris and I will officially be TTC in October since I need to wait 6 months. I had the c-section where the cut is across on the outside but up and down on the inside.

I'm Tracy and my DH is Bob. I'm 33 and he's 34. We had our first date in May of 2003 after meeting on eharmony.com. We moved in together in January of '04, got engaged the next month and married last October. We moved into our new house two days before our two year dating anniversary.

We aren't actively TTC yet; I am on a "fact finding mission" at the moment, just trying to learn as much as I can. We are tentatively planning to begin late summer/early fall.

I have three cats, Oreo, Gatsby and Phoebe. DH loves them and it's mutual.

Hi Everyone,

My name is Karen and my DH is Kevin. I am 29 and he is 28. I work for Ernst & Young and DH is going to Harvard Business School and he just finished his first year. We met in NYC, got engaged, moved to San Diego for 3 years, got married 2 years ago, then moved to Cambridge (Harvard) last summer. This summer we are both living in San Francisco for his summer internship. I love it here! My work was nice enough to let me work out of SF instead of Boston for a couple of months. Don't think they'll be too happy if I show up preggo at the end of the summer

We have 2 doggies, a Westie and a Shih-Tzu, Lexie and Oreo and we love them like our children. They're out here with us in SF too for the summer!

I'm Lisa, and DH's Al. I'm 30 and he's 32. We were living in San Francisco until a year ago (he went out there for grad school and I followed 2 years later). Now we've settled back into NY and bought our first house.

I have a real estate appraisal business and Al's working for his old company in CA. He's a mechanical engineer/product designer working in the medical device field. Lately, he travels a lot.

I think we started seriously considering TTC when we lost Al's 16 month old nephew in an accident last year. It was then that we saw the profound effect children have on everyone around them, and we knew we wanted that in our lives. But we didn't want to start too soon - we wanted the family to have time to grieve and I wasn't sure I wanted our child to be the first born after the accident (Al's sister/Alec's mom had another daughter in Feb, and his other sister is due with her second in Oct). So we thought our three year anniversary (April2005) would be a good time to start.

So we did, but I'm not ovulating. I went off BCPs and charted a few cycles but things are very irregular. We're taking a fairly casual whatever happens happens approach but I do want to get me ovulating

My name is Gerty (39...feel better Kara?) and DH is Dan (33). Yes, I did rob the cradle. We met Christmas week of 2000 and started dating in 2001. Dan proposed in Key West, my favorite place, in January of 2003. We got married in January of 2004 and have been living in an apartment in Nesconset since we got engaged.
We were not planning on TTC originally, cuz of my age, and then just decided last year that we would try. We have been since October and nothing. I was recently diagnosed with PCOS and am now in the process of trying for my first IUI.
We are also hoping to buy a house before the end of the year, but we shall see what happens with this market.
It's so nice meeting everyone!
ETA: I forgot we have a two year old crazy kitty named Espresso!

I am Melissa, will be 26 in a month, hubby is Brian who will be 32 in 2 weeks. I work for a travel agency and hubby works for homeland security. We will be married one year Sept 18. We live in Florida and will be closing on our home soon. We have 2 ferrets, Stinky and Smokey. We're going to be TTC later in the year or early next year. We want to get settled in the house and do a little traveling.

I'd like to play this game...I am being limited in info just in case... NO ONE except DH and I know about our grand plan. I know people who know us can possibly be on here too...

I'm 30 and he's 33. We've known each other for 6 years, been together for 5 years, married for 1. We've got a cat but it was mine before we were dating. We're both from the city and now live in Long Island. Not officially TTC but not fighting it now either.

I would like to share more...I'll do a better introduction once the cat is out of the bag!

We met on match.com in Jan. 03, DH moved in with me in Marh 03, got engaged in September 03 and married in April 04....yes, we move fast also. DH has a daughter from his previous marriage....she will be 9 in a few weeks...she lives with us. We have 2 cats, Frankie and Fiona and a dog named Nino. Here's us:

OK my travel agent says that she has a sudden influx of calls -- women looking to book cruises to Alaska....hmmmmm....wonder what that's all about!!!

My name is Marcie (32), DH is Jim (30). Nobody knows were trying except for the LIF/LIW girls.
We met Jan 2002, started dating July 2002. Engaged Jan 2004, moved in together March/April 2004, married Oct 2004. We were unoffically trying since the wedding (nothing), we have been offically trying I guess since Jan/Feb.
We rent a house in Centereach. DH is a wine salesman, and I have been trying to find a job since Oct ( I was laid off from my job a week before my wedding).
We have a golden retriever puppy - her name is Casey (she is 7 months old).

I'm Theresa (34, 35 in Oct 1) and FH is David (37 on July 7th)

We have an interesting story, I'll copy it from my wedding program:

Theresa and David were over 14 years in the making yet they never met until March, 2003 at a speed-dating event!
A few days later they met for coffee and learned that they not only both attended Ithaca College at the same time, had the same major, were both college dj's, knew several of the same people and also lived two floors apart in the same dorm!!! Ithaca is not a large school so considering all of this it was quite odd that they never met.
Later, on their first date they learned that they both interviewed for the same job at a small video production company (only 4 employees) in the summer of 1990. David got the job as he had graduated and Theresa returned to college. After dinner, while at a club, they learned that yet again, they were both in that same club, the Downtown, only four months earlier standing ten feet away from one another. That night, in a raffle, Theresa won a bass guitar, in hindsight a clear sign from above.
They both feel that while they were eventually destined to meet, fate obviously felt that while they were so physically close to each other on so many occasions, they were not yet quite ready to meet. The Proposal

We live in East Northport. David was married once before and this is the house he bought with his ex-wife. We are almost done fixing this up and would like to buy the bigger house where we will raise a family within the Northport school district.

I teach AP World History and College Economics at a high school and David sells advertising for a buiness to business computer magazine in Huntington.

We have a cat, Zoe.

Hi Im Christine and my husband is Don aka Captaincharisma424. I am 28 and he is 29. We met via the Internet in May of 1999 and got engaged April 2001. We were married October 2002.

Basically I've been diagnosed with an underactive thyroid and I have irregular periods. While I've lost quite a bit of weight the doctor wants me to lose a bit more before he puts me on Clomid. In the meanwhile we have been "unofficially" TTC hoping for a miracle but nothing yet

Hi everyone I'm Cheryl & my DH is Mike. I'm 26, DH 28. We met in 1998 and were best friends for a few years before we started dating in 2001. In Dec. of 2002 we got engaged in Disney World (a total shock & surprise for me) We got married on April 17, 2004.
I'm currently in promotions & events for a magazine and DH is an Acct. Executive for a TV Network.
We bought a house in New Hyde Park in Feb of 2003 and completely renovated it and moved in right after the wedding.
We both decided that we are ready for the next step in our life, and we really can't wait to be parents and to share our love with someone that is part of both of us.

We've been trying for 3 months.

Hi My name is Christina and my Fh name is Brian. I'm 23 and my fh is 31. We meet in 03 and we got engaged in 04 on my b-day it was totally suprise for me. We are getting married Aug 14,2005.
I work at Audi in smithtown in the service deparment. My Fh does tile work for kinds of bathrooms and kitchens etc.
We have an apartment in holbrook. We used to have a house in centereach but we moved out we are now look for house in centereach to buy.
We both decide that we both wanted kids right away. So we started TTc this month .
I'm not home but i will post a pic when i get home.

Forgot to mention about our dog Zena she is a sherpard collie
