How many times a year...
Do you call in sick from work? (Average)
I call in at least 5 times, maybe 3 of the 5 days i'm really sick.

about that....but I do take some scheduled sick days too...I get a lot of sick time at work, so I'll schedule a bunch of doctor appts in one day, and take off from work

I NEVER call in sick unless I am near death. Yes I am one of those people that come in and spread germs. They tell me to go home but then they bi atch if something isnt done. At this place you are damned if you do and damned if you dont.

0-2 unless I ger the flu or something similar.
We don't have just "sick" days though, we get "sick/personal" days, so I do end up using all the days.

I rarely, if ever, call in sick. I'm a teacher, so I get plenty of days off anyhow. I had perfect attendance last year, and I was pregnant virtually the whole year  In fact, calling in excessively is one of the traits I despise in a person.

At this job 2-3- and I am always really sick.
At my old job, I needed a few more "mental health" days- so 5. I got 5 sick days a year, so I took them all.

I have three sick days in three years. I don't get sick often, thankfully, and wouldn't take a sick day for a common cold.

Pretty rare. I've called in once this year... Though i might call in this week if this head cold doesn't go away.... It's hard to teach when you can't talk for more than a minute without going into a coughing fit

Last year I was sick a LOT. The wedding put so much freakin' stress on me and I had a fever every other day. So that doesn't count...but it was over 10 times! 
Normally, it's around 3-5. And I'm out today (first time this "year")...damn hubby got me sick!

Same here- I get sick maybe once or twice a year, but since August, I have had 3 ear infections, my lasik, a dizzy spell day and I have to get a wisdom tooth pulled next week. So nothing really terrible, just a pain in the azz. Lets hope it's over for a while!
