MIL Rave- I know this is a strange one!
My MIL is definately an opinionated, pain in the butt and always butts in people's business but for once it worked in my favor.
My future SIL who is marrying DH brother in a couple of weeks expected me and DH's sister to throw her after wedding brunch at HER home and have us do all the preparations- buying the stuff, making the food, serving everyone etc. Granted I offered to throw her a brunch at my home so we could show DH relatives our new place when they are here for the wedding, but that wasn't good enough. So she changed the plan and sent me a long email detailing what she wanted me to do in HER home- kind of like a caterer. Somehow Dh's sister got roped in along with me- maybe because she is a waitress by profession????
So I forwarded the detailed email to DH's other sister who is not fond of this manipulative woman either, just to make sure I wasn't over-reacting. She mentioned it to her mom and for once that woman was on my side. She called her son and said that was too much for me (at five months pregnant) and her daughter who is only in town for the wedding to handle and that she would pay for a caterer to do the brunch.
I guess our little talk when she came to visit worked. She never has been on my side before. I am just so grateful I don't have to deal with the manipulative little witch! She actually lied to her Dh and told him she didn't know why MIL was concerned about me and Dh Sister, all she asked us to do was make a fruit salad!

My SIL said she was really tempted but then she would have to tell him I forwarded the email to her. Believe me I would love to if I wasn't told this in confidence by SIL. I wish he could see what we all see, he is such a great guy.
Oh, and trust me, the witch would love to see a rift between Dh and his sister- this would be the perfect excuse if I shared the email with him. I am not even telling my Dh so he doesn't slip and hurt their relationship. She also said some things behind my back to Dh and he mentioned them to his sister. I will NOT be speaking around her from now on so she can't twist what I say around. My DH sister told me to watch my back so I know she has said a lot about me.

She sounds like a real gem!  
With a person like that, it is best to ignore her as much as possible. Be cordial, but that’s it. the last thing you want to do is play her sick twisted little game. Her true colors will eventually come out to all. what goes around comes around

Boo Hiss to the SIL. I'm a firm believer in what goes around comes around so she will get hers, someday, someway.
As for MIL
And yes, it's a lot to ask of anyone but especially since you just moved and are 5 months preggos.

Thanks girls for the support- I needed to share this with someone without breaking my promise to my SIL not to tell anyone what the witch's Dh told her.
I have to admit- I am a little worried and afraid of her. She is really a piece of work and I know she's jealous of me. Why I don't know- she has a wonderful home, a beautiful son and a great DH to be. I think she wishes this was her first marriage too and they were just starting out together. But that isn't my problem and I wish she would stop taking it out on me.
