what is the final cost per month on it? TIA

thinking of changing over
we pay now
home phone- average 125.00 a month for 2 lines

Cable- 86 and change a month for crappy cable I have to add

Internet- dial up- I know I know- thats why we have the extra line and aol service 30 bucks a month

so I am trying to see what is the actual monthly billing for all 3 and see how much I would save if I switched.

I have it- I just wrote a check for $187- total- cable- every channel plus on demands- HBO, Cinemax, Showtime- cable internet

and phone

we are very happy with it

We just did and for our first month it's approximately $160 for the three services.

We figured out that we are saving almost $400 a year.

gold package- I think- they best one- we love cable

then I added the on demmands- b/c I had them on time warrner in the city and we were used to it

they are $5 a month- so minus $15 and that should be you total- if you get all the movie channel- less if you don't

We got it - DH installed the phone himself. We haven't used the phone service yet (keeping the land line anyway I think).

I have no idea how much $$....! Ignorance is bliss, lol.

the phone serivce alone makes it worth it- I have all the features- call waiting etc

I had it - and it was costing me $126 a month. That was for cable, phone and internet. I think it is soooo worth it.
I now pay $152 a month, due to my first year is over.

Eta - oh yeah - this was the silver package

keep in mind to get this deal, you need to be a new customer...

we moved and switched names of the account (was in mine, now in hers)

savings are between 400-500 depending what you sign up for.

before i moved, just cable and internet for about 115...

now, all services for the same price.
so now its like getting the phone for free + a couple bucks off.

figure you save 40 (approx) a month...
that is 480 bucks

when my year is up, i may drop the phone as i still don't use it enough (cell phone was my primary phone for 4 years prior to getting a real home)


to answer your question, you should switch...u will see savings the first month.

1 phone line for all your calls, 30
1 basic cable 30 (you can upgrade)
1 high speed internet - not even close to dailup 30 bucks

you are paying 241 a month now it appears.
you will save about 100+ dollars depending on what kinda of tv service you signed up for.

correct...the most you can do is the double play option

double play is just phone and internet for 60 (30 each) for 1 year..

this will bring your bill to 60 +86 = 146 vs your 241 currently.

142 a month is what we pay for all three. But we have the dvr box that records shows and we get a bunch of premium channels, so it added a lot of money.

With the new customer thing...

They let me do the whole triple play package because I was a new Voice Mail customer.

I've been a Cablevision customer for 5 years. I had no problems getting the package, and I didn't have to change names or do anything crazy like that.

We have it, we have basic cable though and the bill is $100/month.

I wanted to cancel the internet cuz we hardly use it but you need that in order for the phone to work.

Sometimes the phone connection isnt all that great, but its good enough. Most people still calls us on our cell phones anyway.
