pregnancy test question ** UPDATED**
Hi, everyone!
haven't been on this board in a long time, with DH's work schedule we haven't had a shot for a few months.
I did take a test today, i'm not due for aunt flo until tomorrow or saturday. I got the dark test line and then another faint line. any shot of that being a positive?

Well Ladies,
like you all said a LINE IS A LINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i still can't believe it.
Only bummer was that i had to tell DH by email
 i couldn't get a hold of him out on the ship until a couple of hours later...oh well.

A line is a line is right! I got a very faint line two days before AF was due and I thought I was imagining it. then, 4 days later, I got a real BFP!

oh my god! you really think?
i didn't even tell DH i was taking the test, he's been begging me.
maybe i'll wait another day or two and see what happens. this month i really felt like it was not happening,and right now i kind of feel like i'm getting my period...so i don't know. i don't want to get all excited for nothing

I got a really faint line on an Equate like four days before my missed period. I then bought a First Response test the same morning and the test came up a little darker. I though they were evaporation lines but the next day I tested and they came up a lot darker.
If you saw a faint line, then it most likely is a BFP!!!!! I was shocked myself.
Congrats!
ETA: I had cramps also and felt like AF was coming. I had cramps for like 2 weeks after BFP. Its totally normal.

ETA- if you are in doubt test again in a couple of days but I heard that you would get a false negative and not a false positive

I felt like i was getting my AF anyday before my BFP! I kept running to bathroom with a tampon in hand, and nothing!

Thanks everyone!
i'm keeping my fingers crossed and praying! i'm goign to wait until Saturday to take another test (or maybe tomorrow night, idon't knonw if i can wait until saturday!)
DH is out at sea, so i'm not going to say anything to him until i know one way or the other for sure.

Try and take your next test with FMU- that is when there is the most hormone in your urine!
Definitely sounds like congrats are in order!
