Who has changed their hair color dramatically?

meaning a completely different color NOT just shades darker or lighter that the color...


How did you like it?

What colors did you have and then went to?

I naturally have reddish brown and went black in high school. It was striking, but I don't think it was flattering with my very very pale skin. I also went blonde at one point, which did not look bad but was a pain to maintain with brown roots.

I did. I went from being natural light blond to dark brown. I had thought about it for a long time and took the plunge this summer....I cried. And had the color removed that night. It wasn't me, something about it didn't feel right. I felt strange, like I was someone else.

Looking back at pix I took of it that day, it did look good, but I don't know, it felt fake to me. I didn't feel like myself.

My natural colour...um, who remembers

recently I have been black, blonde, red, and black with blue, with purple, with green....

Now I am blonde with really bad roots.

I love the black & the red (not necessarily together) but they are both too hard to keep up. The red always turns orange on me, no matter what base or shade I use, and the black looses its sheen to quickly.

I have been platinum, almost black, strawberry blonde, burgundy red, scary orange, chocolate brown, golden blonde....
I love changing my hair color. And I think I've actually enjoyed every color (except the scary orange, thank you Feria), but I think I look the most like myself with darkish blonde, which is what I have now. I find myself daydreaming about being very dark again though.

I have been very light blonde, to red, to very dark brown. I liek it the best close to my natural color- brown with light brown highlights.

I have gone from a dark brown to a blonde ( not bleach blonde but def. blonde) and I loved it.

BTW one of my best friends has the exact same hair color as you and she is a hair stylist so she plays around with her hair a lot. If there is a specific color you want to change it to I can let you know how I thought it looked.

Her sister who also has the same naturally red hair dyed it black and it looks great.

I have medium brown hair and when I turned 15 I dabbled with Sun In. Then I dyed it light auburn. Then by time I was 16, I was literally platinum blond. Then during the summer, it was almost albino white.
Then about 2 yrs later, I went back to my natural color.

I went from a dark brown to the lightest blonde. I had my hair stripped to do this and, unbelievably, did this on my lunch time from work and then, when I got home, I put another blonde color in because I didn't like it. I can't believe I have any hair on my head after all I did to it over the years.

speaking of coloring your hair, I will be doing that soon I already have had Caramel, golden Blonde and I think the golden blode looked better than caramel on me.also In highschool for my senior prom I had Redhair It actually looked nice on me.

Naturally dark brown hair and I was a redhead from 24-26 1/2. I liked it DH hated it so back to brown I went.

I am not positive but I think I am at my natural color now. I have done everything from beach blonde to black and back to blonde. I enjoy having fun with my hair, its like an empty canvas.

I went from highlighted blonde to a dark red and back to my natural hair color (which I have not seen in 20 years mind you.) they all looked good. But I think I like the highlighted blonde the best.

Been just about every shade from platinum blonde to very very dark brown...with some reddish colors in between.

Just have been contemplating going dark auburn the last few days...

me! I'm naturally dark brown(with some gray in there now ). I went close to platinum blonde and pixie cut short but then I had the blonde toned down. I didn't care for it, it looked too fake. I have gone very red/auburn which I LOVED but the red is a pain in the azz- it would never hold and gets very brassy.

I haven't dyed my hair since my sophmore year of college..
but before that (high school & freshman year of college) I had lots of different hair colors. My hair is naturally med-dark brown with golden and reddish highlights around my face.
I have been:
Black
Black Cherry
Black with red streaks
black with blonde streaks
brown with blonde streaks
brown with BIG blonde chunks in the front only
Light brown

Sophmore year of college I dyed it dark brown (close to natural as I could find) and let it grow out. I haven't dyed it since. It was fun to experiment and change my look, but it was more of a highschool phase thing and not something I would do now. My hair used to be so damaged from all the changes and it is much healthier now (I used to do it all myslef too.)

My favorite of all the colors was Black. I think my hair looks more natural black, since my eyebrows are almost black and my natural hair color is lighter than my eyebrows. Also, people always were asking if I dyed my hair because of my natural reddish-golden highlights which ANNOYED me, and when it was black people just assumed it was natural. My HS Senior pic is jet black hair.

I also liked the black with red streaks.

Right now my hair is a brownish/reddish color.

It has been:
Red
Blond
Black


I think the chocolate w/red would look awesome on you.

I am thinking of doing a chocolate color on my hair. It is getting so grey I'm scared to look in a mirror

I am a brunette and I've been every color. My most drastic was blonde...I'll post a pic.

This is my real hair color with my "normal" highlights...

I have. I have been bleach blonde....dark brown...auburn. My Aunt owned a hair salon and we would always try new looks. Now I am pretty simple. I just have some blonde highlights. Though I am thinking of going red-auburn for the winter. We'll see.
