The entire show was a waste of time.... Jack Black was the worst host in years.
DH thought guys on the treadmill was the best performance...LOL. I thought Christina Aguilera was the best.

I am glad to see these comments..i went to bed thinknig, man, I must be getting old, bc those S*cked!!!
I guess I am just an old school MTV baby, back when the performances were "good" and the musicians had a little bit more substance...

LOVED it...I thought she was amazing...I wanted to get up and dance in my living room JT & Christina were great as well and I also loved the guys on the treadmill - lol That takes skills and coordination...lol...everything else S U C K E D...I feel like it gets worst and worst each year...Jack Black was NOT in the least bit funny.
ETA: Sarah Silverman  what the hell was she all about? She sounded like an idiot babbling away about nonsense...so stupid

For me the only good performer was Justin Timberlake. Jack Black was awful and overall the show wasn't good.
Thank goodness we DVR'd it and were able to fast forward 90% of it.

I felt like there were ALOT of mistakes and Jack Black su cks!!
Fergie, JT, and Christina were awesome. Missy Elliot was completely lip syncing and she got hit in the head (horrible).
Over all I thought it was bad.
I think the way the stage was set up was too confusing and there was too much going on.
I THOUGHT IT SUCKED TOO---and dh and I cracked up when they hit missy in the head!  There were so many messups....it was bad!

I fell asleep so I missed a bunch. I woke up during Christina Aguilera, who I thought was great. I was awake for Jessica Simpson though, unfortunately. She's such a mess.

I started watching at 10.
What a dissapointment.
best performance for me was Christina Aguilera, her voice is simply amazing.
Although I love Beyonce, I feel like that's not her best song.
I'm mad I missed Shakira's performance.

I thought it was all ok. Jack Black was horrible!
I loved Christinas performance and Beyonce's.
Jessica Simpson looked beautiful, but I felt bad for her little mess up.
Nick looked HOT!

LOVE JT!!! and Christina Aguilera!!!! Jessica was horrible, I actually felt bad for her. Nobody was laughing like they usually would when she was with Nick, I was cringing for her =(. As far as the stage it was to confusing, most of the time they didn't know which way to turn for the cameras. Nothing spectacular happened. Major boos this year
