Re: Annual Pay Increases
I got 4% this year, actually it read 3.999...what is that?
And now our office is moving up and across town...so instead of walking to the office I will be going via subway, which is $$$ out of my pocket, I should have gotten the subway spend added to the raise, or maybe it was and I got less of a raise? Yeah I think that was it... sh****T.

Re: Annual Pay Increases
i work for a large company, over 8 thousand employees at HQ - we get about 3% increase every year. if we get a promotion, its more, but we don't get merit increases, only yearly

Re: Annual Pay Increases
from 1%-5% is the norm...
each year they establish a range ...say 2.5%-4% and then you get something in that field based on merit.
highest we ever got was 6% and lowest was 1%....

Re: Annual Pay Increases
The last few years I have gotten around 5%. Its not much if you don't make much. But if you already make a decent living... 5% can add up to some buks.
I'm content with it.

Re: Annual Pay Increases
DH was expecting a dececnt raise because he's been working a lot of overtime and weekends (which he doesn't get paid for) and only wound up with 3%. Needless tp say, he's in the process of looking for a new job.

Re: Annual Pay Increases
I started a new job in February. I'm told our bonuses will be from 3-15% and raises 6-8%.
DH's bonus is about 20% - but he's always at work. His raise will be about 8-10%
