You're not talking about Myst, are you?
I have been there...its more of a club than a martini bar. The drinks are expensive, the music is loud...I don't know if that's the ideal setting for a gtg...  Sorry if that's what you're talking about

not to sound cheap, but if i am paying for a "Peak" LIRR ticket i dont think ill want to pay a cover charge at this place.
im thinking now this place might not be ideal for a gtg

I recommend Faraday's, right on Main St, or Old Street Pub. They'll both set up a big table for you, and they have great American food. I'd DEFINITELY call them the beginning of that week to let them know approx how many, b/c you know that getting a table ANYWHERE at that time on a Friday is rough.
Right next door to Myst is Napper Tandy's - they don't really get too crowded til after 10, and they have great good bar food... some of the best wings and burgers i've ever had. 
Wish I could go....If I was going to be around, I'd definitely help you coordinate, b/c I'm so close....

What about Cozymels at the Source? The food is good and on Friday I believe it's 2 for 1 drinks!
ETS- I don't know too many LI restaurants but this is one I am familiar with.

 Have the GTG the week before! June 23rd would be GREAT.
We're leaving at 4am on 6/30...headed to a rented South Carolina beach house for a week.

Yeah, I agree with the week before. Then I would be able to make it. DH and I have 4th of July weekend plans starting that Friday, as do alot of people. Most places are going to be very crowded.
Plus, Im not too thrilled about the location either. It really is not centrally located enough for me. Smithtown is far for me.
