Secondhand Smoke

Dear Mr. Greaseball standing in front of the building! Could you PLEEEEEASE stand at least 6 feet from the front entrance instead of like 6 inches!! I understand your "need" for nicotine, and it is TOTALLY your choice to inhale those cancer sticks you call cigarettes, but could you please NOT do it so that with every downwind, I'm inhaling a whole cloud of your secondhand toxic waste!!!!!!!! UGH!!!!!!!!!!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: Secondhand Smoke

Im glad you brought this up....yesterday I took the baby to the hospital for a pulmonology appt...and in front of the enterence there was at least 30 people smoking. All I could think was...dumb a$$e$ you are in front of a hospital...people are sick...you should smoke some place else. Then I got ticked that the hospital allows people to smoke right in front of the enterance. I pulled the visor on the stoller in front of James' face and walked real fast through the smoke...It just got me so mad...I was there to have my son's lungs checked and I had to walk through a cloud of smoke to get him the dr.

Re: Secondhand Smoke

as a recent quitter I feel your pain. It's very hard to walk by the big poof of smoke!
When I smoked I always stood away from the doors - who the heck wants to walk through a cloud? And who wants to stand on top of a door when they smoke anyway?

Woohoo!! That's fantastic!! You should be very proud!

I quit almost 2 years ago and since I still miss it it, I sometimes enjoy the smell. What I don't understand is standing in front of the doors so you can't open them...that's what annoys me.

the sad thing is that there are signs posted in front of the hospital stating...do not smoke in front of the hospital entrance....but the security guard was standing in front of it...smoking!!!!

I was just visiting someone at the hospital and there were signs posted that you had to be at least this distance from the entrance...and of course there are people right at the door!!!!Chat Icon
