I think we are going to get ours this week - but probably not put it up until next week

Tell me, what is your reason for doing that? And where will you store it then?

My parents do that sometimes. They told me that sittign out intheir backyard isn't any differnet than it sitting in a lot somehwere.

They want to get it this week if the weather is good, in case it bad the week after.

W elive in an apt, so we pu tit up right away & decorate it the next day.

I was wondering if this wekend was too early.

We put it up late because we take it down late. We may go get it this weekend though so we can get a good one and leave it in the yard.

I cut mine in Warwick, NY this old guy farms them on his land and I can't find his name in any searches. (not that you'd want to come up here anyway!)They are $32.

But this website will tell you where there are others are on Long Island

Christmas Tree Farms

My friend has been taking a day trip and cutting hers in CT for years, I am pretty sure this is where she goes:

I'm up here already, can you give me directions say from 17 or 17A?

Sure! Ok, I'll try my best!

James Wood

From 17:
Get off 17 Exit 126 take route 94 towards Florida. Follow 94 approx 4.5 miles to Florida.
Turn left at light onto Main Street (still 94).
Follow Main Street 0.4 miles turn right onto Bridge Street.
Follow Bridge Street 0.3 miles and take left fork onto Highland Ave.
Highland Avenue becomes Jessup Road
Follow Highland Avenue/Jessup Road 2.5 miles to Jessup Road Orchard on the right make a left here at Distillery Road.
Take your next left which is West Ridge Rd(little wooden christmas tree sign) and follow approx 1-1.5 miles they are on the left side of the road.

or From the center of Warwick Village

Follow Route 94 north and turn left onto Grand Street (At Saint Anthony's Hospital)
Follow Grand Street 1.4 miles and turn right onto Distillery Road
Follow Distillery Road 1.3 Miles to West Ridge Road. (if you come to Jessup Orchard you went to far)
Make a right on the West Ridge Road follow wooden Christmas tree signs to 65 West Ridge Road.
Maybe you should just call him to be sure LOL Chat Icon
