Don't give up on town shelters! We got Annie from one. She was emotionally distraut and hadn't been eatting. She had gotten worms and kennel cough from being there. Most of the dogs there have this and its not just in Town Shelters... it's in ALL of them. Anyway she was as good as new after a couple of weeks. She cost us a wopping total of $5.
We got her at Islip Town Shelter.
