Yup, thats how I remembered it. I think in early 2001 it was redesigned and everyone had to rejoin. I started out with a different screen name.
I remember that too!
I joined back in 2000. 
i remember that too.. it went on forever..
RThe chat room also.. it ook forever to talk to anyone...
I also joined in 2000.. they redesigned it right after I got married in 2001
