REALLY REALLY REALLY need advice and prayers....

ok well i was hoping to announce today that i am pg and i guess i still can announce it but with a catch..... i went for my first sono and no h/b yet. i am about 6 weeks or so. my last af was 9/12 and the dr is being opstimistic but i have to go back next week for another sono. the week is going to kill me.. i had blood taken and then i will go back on monday for more blood and they will compare the numbers to see if the numbers are going down.. a sure sign of ANOTHER M/C. He says he has seen this happen a 1000 times and teh next week there is the h/b and he has also seen it where the next week there is still no h/b and they have to do a dnc so we'll see.

my question anyone ever have this where they didnt see the h/b at this stage and went on to have a healthy pg?

I am sure everything is o.k. I have an idea of exactly what you are going through. My first sono was at exactly 6 weeks and the doctor couldn't see the heart beat and he said this happens all the time. I went back a week later(7weeks) and we finally saw the heartbeat. Waiting a week was like waiting forever. It will be here before you know it. Good Luck!!!

Please try to stay positive. My doc told me she would not do a sono on me b/4 8 weeks b/c she says a lot of the times you can't see anything before then

I have also read that a tilted uterus can cause difficulty in seeing the heartbeat and it is relatively common. What were your Hcg levels

The exact thing happened to me- no hb at 6 weeks 2 days and at 7 weeks 2 days there it was!

I am now 35 weeks. I am sorry you have to go throught the week of waiting, it was so hard- but hang in there!

i had a bloodtest a few weeks anfd my numbers were good and havent had one sicne today i had one nd will get the results monday and have another blood tests monday and they will compare them.

Don't worry so much. I knew I ovulated either CD 12 or CD 22 and thought I was further along and got upset last week, but we saw the heartbeat this week and all is well and it looks like I O'd on the later date! Congratulations!

Oh Noel, I'm so sorry you are going through this, but I will tell you what the sono tech told me on Monday when I had my sono. She said that she was surprised to hear a hearbeat at 6.5 weeks. She said most of the time she doesn't see one at that stage. And had they known I was only 6.5 weeks, they would have waited to do a sono, but they thought I was 8 weeks at the time. So hang in there. It does not mean the worst, honey.

I was 5 1/2 weeks and we didnt see the heartbeat. About a week later we saw the heartbeat. Its normal not to see it when the bean is so tiny.

I am sending you many many prayers. I went through something similar with my last 2 visits. I thought we saw a HB but my OB was acting sort of weird, he didnt even want to give me a EDD and I was sick with worry all week. Everything was fine. At 8 weeks, I saw the HB.

My thoughts are with you during this difficult week and I pray that all is well **HUGS**
