Re: Looking for Sympathy ...how do you deal with
I lost a very good friend when I was about 18 weeks. It was a shock, I was shopping in Target and my DH calls me to say that she was not going to make it throgh the night. We knew she had cancer but it spread so quickly, there was nothing the Drs could do for her. She was young, 37, and left behind her husband and 2 small babies (8 months and 1 1/2 years). It was so hard. I let myself cry, holding it in will stress you out more.
It will be tough but you will get through it.....just try and relax when you can (take a warm bath, pregnant women should not take a hot bath)

Sorry for your loss
In my family every death means a birth, and your grandfather will become your babies guardian angel. In your time of sadness, know that your grandfather is keeping your baby safe. I know all of this may sound silly, but it I truly believe it, and it helps me make sense out of something so painful.

I am so sorry. I know how it feels to loose a grandparent, It devistated me when I lost my grandfather. I know its hard but try to stay relaxed and when you think you are going to have a breakdown, think of something funny the he did or said, it will bring a smile to your face. And remember one thing, you are giving him a great grandchild, and he will be with you ALL the way!

I'm so sorry I agree with what some other people said. Let yourself greive and be sad. Don't try to hold it in. But think about how wonderful your grandfather was. I truly believe that the ones we lose become our guardian angels.

Re: Looking for Sympathy ...how do you deal with
I know what your going through, I lost both my grandparents (one on each side) when I was 7 months pregnant with my son. It was horrible, I was extremely close with my grandma, I went through such a roller coaster of emotions. Let yourself feel what it is your feeling, let it out , cry, just release it. Its worse when you hold it in. Like the others said - think about the positive things, he's in a better place now, he will always be watching out for your little one, and you.
