Update : He's sleeping right now in our house:)
Jack is going to see his Daddy again sometime today!!!!! I still have no clue on when but it is very close! I am so freaking nervous and excitied it is ridiclous! I am having major butterflies and not only have I been waiting for a hug and kiss forever from my husband... I cannot wait to finally see him with his son again :)
And our would be house guest just never showed up, didn't even call back to say if she was or wasen't coming so that all worked out and now it will just be the 3 of us! So I'm thinking everyone's prayers and good thoughts worked.. keep em coming!!

He left when Jack was about 6 1/2 weeks and now he's 18 weeks. We have both missed him so much and he has missed so many little things with the baby already!
Please say a quick prayer the next week or so goes smoothly so he doesn't get delayed and also for us when were reunited as a family :)

Ps. I'm sorry I'm not responding to more posts things have just been crazy here lately. I think everyone on this board has such cute little babies and toddlers and I appreciate everyone's help. This board is just great!

Laurie, I am so happy to hear that your husband may be on his way home very very soon
You are a stronger woman than I am... I admire you so much! And I know that your reunion with your DH , and having little Jack's Daddy home, is going to be just fantastic

Yup, we decided on a short cruise to the Bahamas in late October and we upgraded to a junior suite with balcony so we are both looking foward to it. My mom will come down and watch Jack for us.
We are having some problems with his return a certain family member is trying to come down either the day he returns or the day after and she has had almost 12 weeks to see the baby so we are ****** and she is messing up alot of things and loves to try to plot Dh and I aganist each other so when we are trying to get reaquainted and get him readjusted to having a son she wants to be our house guest. She was told not to even try to pull this kind of crap earlier but she doesn't seem to care. This person is insanely jealous and the night before he left pulled crap (she was down for jack's christening) and told me off and spent a few hours telling Dh how he constantly rips her heart out... for example (when we got engaged.. married... etc)
So please say a prayer she changes her mind and I can get her to cancel her trip. I went from having butterflies that he was coming home to being on the verge of an ulcer and not wanting to eat and now he has told me if he gets back and she is here he will check into a hotel instead of coming home..:(

I am so happy that your husband is coming home and hoipe that all goes well and smoothly with his return.
As far as this family member coming to stay withyou guys while he is home can DH talk her out of coming for a few days so he can get back into the routine with you and his son? Can he tell her that he would l ike to see this person but to wait a few days. If not or if this person refuses to do so then I would book a hotel for a week for you your son and Dh and stay there not telling this person and you can sort of get back into the swing of things there and this person will not be able to stay with you cuz you won't be there.
Yeah I know its a bit harsh but when family doesn't listen you have to be harsh sometimes

It's getting closer and ((fingers crossed)) our visitor hasen't called back and she was planning on arriving in 10 hours so I would think she would have called if she was coming.
Now as long as nothing gets messed up I'll be seeing him pretty soon :) I can't wait he just called an is so excitied!
