I am reposting what I wrote on LIW:
"Honestly, I never suspected the parents and I think its shameful that because of a lack of evidence, these poor people had to live the past years as suspected murderers. How horrible. People wanted answers. People wanted to blame someone and it was easy to blame them. I think the relationship Patsy had with her daughter was bizarre but not enough to have murdered her own daughter. I hope her mother can rest in peace when all of the pieces are put together."
Id like to think that her mother can take care of her in heaven now. They should BOTH rest in peace.

I, too, find the $$ of the ransom request/bonus very odd. Of course its possible for someone to somehow find that info out. Im very curious how this person knew it. It does seem odd that if the parents did it, that they would use that # as a ransom request. But werent there a few other suspicious things that kept bringing the police back to the parents? I didnt follow the case in huge detail so I cant recall...

Polly's father, Marc Klaas, said he doesn't believe Karr killed JonBenet - or at least had inside help.
"He was in a notorious [sex] traffic location . . . and he was looking at numerous years in a Thai prison. If I were him I would confess to cops to the Lindbergh kidnapping to avoid a Thai prison. There are just too many questions about this arrest," Klaas said.

I agree with you but i feel that the Ramseys made themselves look guilty by not cooperating with police. We all know in a situation like that they are going to suspect the parents, so it is important to be patient and helpful with the police...

I'll give you that - you are right. BUT they did lose a child which is the absolute worst thing imaginable for a parent. I think it would be impossible to thinkand act rationally when you lose a child while the whole world is watching. They could not grieve the way they deserved to grieve - privately.

Completely agree. It is hard to judge how some one will react to a tragedy. How could any one know how the proper way to act is? To lose you little girl and then be accused of murdering her, I could not imagine how i would act.
But I guess you have to pull through and do your best to help find the guilty party

I am very eager to see if they actually have DNA evidence. I am leaning towards what Polly Klass's Dad thinks that he may want to avoid prison time in Thailand. I truly hope that he is telling the truth and that little girl can finally rest in peace

Ex-wife of the accused-
Laura Karr, who still lives in Petaluma, told KGO-TV in San Francisco last night that she was devastated and embarrassed by the murder charge, but does not believe that her husband committed the crime.
She said she and her husband were living in Alabama around Christmas 1996, when JonBenet was murdered in her Colorado home.
So if they were living in Alabama during that time how was he in Colorado also?
