But I think people would care if she was a nobody... People just like watching reality tv.

where is their "reality show"

But, again, she;s just someone that wants a reality show.. If she was a nobody, then it wouldn't be controversial, but because she's related to somebody, maybe that's how someone wanted to do a reality show on her. That's not her fault. Should she squash her dream of being a star because of her family? If I was an aspiring actress/singer, I'd jump on the chance on doing a reality show just like her regardless of my associations..
I hope I make sense.

How is her show about breaking into the industry any different than the show "there and back" which is about Ashley Parker Angel's attempts to break back into the world as a solo act?
Ashley...wasn't he a NOBODY when he was on the original show?
Hence putting in the celeb category pre "there and back"
So he is using the boy band reformed thing as well as his prior celebrity ...
Deb...canyou really say this girl and this station is NOT using the Bin Ladin name?
The thing is, I REFUSE to hold her name against her. REFUSE. I WILL NOT persacute her for her name. If I do that, should I also refuse a chance to those that are descendants of German soldiers? Or descedants of vietnam fighters?
Like I said, I 100% understand your stance...I'm not trying to change your (or anyone else's) mind on this subject. I am just saying I won't hold her name against her.
Now if the show succcks and her voice is horrible...well then that is a different story.

Not a better woman at all. I just sometimes stupidly believe in giving people a chance.

It would be great if she wanted to dedicate herself to something more productive (although, the arts is a noble pursuit ). Who knows what she might do if she actually has talent and makes $$$$ from it. She could be the next Bono.
well, honestly, if she WERE focusing her energy on something more productive, maybe i'd feel differently..who knows..
but PLEASE!! - reality tv vs. broadway and the arts are NO comparison!!
and she's FAR from being Bono imo.
